Who we are

Chase Base is operated by Hilton Industries. It is an unofficial, fan-made collection tracker and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., or The Pokemon Company.

Data we store

• Account — email, display name, and a hashed password (or SSO identity), held in the shared Hilton Industries account database.
• Collection — the cards you track, quantities, conditions, purchase prices, and notes.
• Marketplace — listings, offers, and bids you create. On a completed sale, buyer and seller are shown each other's name and email to arrange payment and postage.
• Scan usage — a daily counter of AI card scans; scan images are sent to Google Gemini for identification and are not stored by us.
• Feedback — messages you submit, optionally with a per-browser token so you can read replies without an account.
• Preferences — region, currency, theme, and a Gemini API key if you add one (stored against your account, never shown to anyone).

Cookies & storage

We use a session cookie for sign-in and localStorage for preferences (theme, feedback token). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

Your rights (UK GDPR / GDPR)

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us via the feedback page or your Hilton Industries account contact. Deletion removes your collection, listings, offers, and feedback history. Marketplace counterparty details already shared in a completed sale remain visible to that counterparty.

Marketplace terms

The marketplace connects buyers and sellers directly — Chase Base does not hold funds, process payments, or take possession of cards. Payment and postage are arranged between the parties after a sale is agreed. A flat platform fee may apply in future and will be clearly disclosed before it does. Always verify card condition and authenticity before paying; report problems via feedback.

Prices and valuations come from third-party sources (TCGdex, TCGplayer, Cardmarket, eBay, PriceCharting) and are estimates only — they are not offers to buy or sell and may be stale or inaccurate. Live listings link out to the source marketplace where the sale actually happens.
